On November 17th, 2022 the Assembly elected the Executive team for the Metis Settlements General Council. Dave Lamouche, from Gift Lake Metis Settlement was elected as President, and Brenda Blyan from Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement was elected as Vice President.

The Assembly comprises the 40 elected councillors from across the 8 Settlements. The MSGC Board of Directors is composed of the eight Settlement chairpersons and the two MSGC Executives.
