FULL-TIME: METIS SETTLEMENTS PATIENT NAVIGATOR

Position Summary:                                                    

The MSGC is seeking a highly skilled, motivated individual who will aid our membership as they go through various healing journeys by providing assistance in navigating health care services; systems that are culturally sensitive.  Committed to assisting in removing barriers to care by identifying critical resources for clients. Work closely with the Health Care Team which may include doctors, nurses and other clinical staff and/or resources to support positive health outcomes.

TEMPORARY FULL-TIME: GRANT MANAGER (2 positions available)

Position Summary: MSGC is seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a temporary full-time team member working from MSGC’s office in Edmonton (contract ending March 31, 2025).

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the grant application process, cultivating relationships with funding organizations, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grant processes, excellent communication skills, detailed project management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

TEMPORARY FULL-TIME: ENERGY AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIST

Position Summary:

MSGC is seeking a visionary and results-driven individual to join our team as a full-time, temporary employee (contract ending March 31, 2025).

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and will work closely with the two Elected Executive. In this role, the candidate must have a strong understanding of the unique nature of Metis Settlements economic development constraints. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of energy resource development both inside and outside the Settlements (including the Co-Management Agreement with the Government of Alberta) as an underpinning for Settlement economic development and long-term sustainability opportunities.

The successful candidate will need to develop a cross-Settlement assessment of energy sector prospects for participation, investment, and partnerships to enable a coordinated approach to maximizing on emerging opportunities.
